Unoccupied Property Insurance

SIS Unoccupied Property Insurance provides cover for properties that have become unoccupied under probate, power of attorney or court of protection.

Whilst most insurers restrict to FLEEA (Fire Lightning Explosion Earthquake Aircraft), or cancel cover entirely 30 days after a property becomes unoccupied, SIS provide full protection from day 1 with a minimum period of cover of 30 days and an average premium of £95 based on a re-build sum insured of £200,000 (c. £250 annual premium) with optional contents cover. The policy can be extended for a further 11 months whilst unoccupied or if the property has become occupied by a family member or let to private professionals, DSS, students or asylum seekers.
